Warwick is a consultant to Reid Legal Services and undertakes most of the network's Employment Relations Authority investigation meetings and Employment Court work. He graduated in 1970 with an honours degree in law from Victoria University Wellington, and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand in 1971. He practiced law in New Zealand for a number of years before heading overseas to continue his career as a specialist trial lawyer until 1990. Warwick ceased practicing as a lawyer in 1990. He has since been involved in the management of different businesses in New Zealand. In recent years Warwick has worked in the field of Human Resource Management in the seafood industry and the public transport industry.
